Stiefel RP1 insect stopper - a proven, highly-efficient insect repellent with active horsefly and tick protection according to the biocide ordinance. The Saltidin® (Icaridin) active ingredient offers protection for many hours. Icaridin, the active ingredient used by Stiefel in the RP1 products, is almost odourless for humans and does not have an odour that is unpleasant to people or horses. However, insects sense the repellent and are deterred by it. After applying RP1 to the coat, a thin, protective cloud of active ingredient forms as a result of the volatile properties of the substance and may persist for many hours. Icaridin, the active ingredient, is very skin-friendly and can also be used for the rider. It is very important that the repellents should be correctly applied and to the whole area - the maximum benefit at minimum consumption is achieved by combining the spray and gel. The spray is used for large areas from the top, while the gel is intended for targeted application under the belly and the sensitive parts around the eyes. It is also suitable for noise-sensitive horses. Stiefel RP1 has won several test prizes and has been awarded a seal of quality. Application: Thinly spray onto the coat from a distance of approximately 25 cm as needed. Apply with a cloth to sensitive horses, or alternatively use RP1 Gel. Riders should thinly apply RP1 onto the skin. Do not apply to sensitive parts of the body (eyes, ears, nostrils and mucosa). Active protection starts immediately. Pump spray for protection against insects with Icaridin (Saltidin). Notes: Use biocides sparingly. Always read the label and product information before use. Keep the container tightly closed. Store out of reach of small children. Do not apply under the saddle or clothing. Do not spray onto damaged skin. Only use in well-ventilated areas, do not inhale the aerosol.
