Biotin can have a positive effect on the structure and strength of hooves and coat. This fact is scientifically supported. Biotin promotes the production of keratin, which is a component of the horn (e.g., hooves). Regular feeding of an adequate dose of biotin improves, along with other factors, the composition of the hoof horn.
